Yang Xu 是中英攝影協會China Photography Association 副主席。2019年巴比肯藝術集團信託藝術作品開幕獎得主，其個展為 ‘100 Carat Diamond’ 「100克拉鑽石」(2020年)。許曾獲得包括2020年當代青年藝術家、2019年簽名藝術獎在內的多個獎項提名。
她在Air Gallery Open (2019) 和 On the Mountain，我們待在居民(2019)上獲得了高度贊揚獎，以及在中國No Space Organisation 組織支持。她還入圍了 Clyde & Co Art Award (2018) 和Whitechapel Gallery First Thursday University Competition (2017)。2017年，Yang Xu 與溫布爾登藝術學院泰特現代美術館的繪畫研究團隊合作完成了「成像技術」藝術項目，2016年，她與Monster Chetwynd at Royal Festival Hall (2016) 合作完成了「她來了」藝術項目。她的作品在中國和歐洲被收藏。
Take the paintings out 是她於2020 畢業於Royal College of Art 皇家藝術學院繪畫碩士(2018-20年)的作品，主要是透過則她的performativity，在這基礎上把平面的舞台式攝影變為表演藝術。
創作概念Creative concept
During the pandemic, I started taking my paintings to the parks. I am missing being able to interact with people in real life, and I am missing having a ‘stage’ for my works, be it studios, galleries or anywhere they can be seen by the public. My paintings have been craving for some attention, so I took them outside to get some fresh air and fresh people.
在疫情期間把作品帶到外面的世界去把更多的陌生人成為我的觀眾，這種表演形式是挺有挑戰性，但是我很喜歡那種創造一個人設然後用這個人設來和別人進行互動。 面對不同觀眾的反映，但是同時我也獲得了很多反饋。
